Job Description

As an Outside Sales Representative at All-Pro Fasteners, Inc., you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with clients in the industrial and commercial sectors. This field-based role involves identifying new business opportunities, presenting our comprehensive product and service offerings, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new accounts while nurturing existing client relationships in assigned territories.
  • Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and consultations to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate fasteners, industrial supplies, and supply chain services (e.g., VMI, kitting, strategic sourcing).
  • Achieve sales targets through effective negotiation, closing deals, and upselling our value-added services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., manufacturing, warehouse, and support staff) to ensure seamless delivery of products and solutions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Travel within your territory as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales within the fasteners industry or related industrial supply sectors (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, or hardware).
  • Strong knowledge of fasteners, industrial supplies, and supply chain solutions; familiarity with products like bolts, nuts, washers, and MRO items is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote/field environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (up to 50-75% within territory).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits

Based on industry averages for outside sales representatives in the industrial fasteners sector in the United States, we offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward performance and support your success.

  • Base Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
  • Commission Structure: Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, with potential for total first-year earnings of $100,000+ (including base and commissions).
  • Allowances:
    • Company vehicle or car allowance

    • Expense reimbursement for travel, meals, and client entertainment.

Quality Control Lab Technician

All-Pro Fasteners, Inc. is a full-line, full-service fastener company that distributes a complete line of bolts, nuts, washers, screws and fastener related components throughout the United States. Responsibilities

  • Interprets engineering drawings and blueprints to determine quality and reliability standards
  • Selects products for testing during receiving or shipping process, and tests products for mechanical integrity and standard compliance
  • Report the test data into the quality software to create the formal test reports
  • Verify and upkeep the maintenance of the test equipment within the quality lab
  • Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards

Summary: Completes orders and prepares documents to ship product to customer by performing the following duties.

  • Reviews order to determine steps completed and additional steps required to complete order
  • Work with Expediters to determine method of shipment
  • Serves as double checker to ensure shipments meet specifications. Compares identifying information such as counts, part numbers, methods of shipment

  • Verifies and documents quantities and description of material pulled

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages one subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of three employees in the Inventory Management and Branch Support.  Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises one non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Manufacturing Careers

Summary: Operates saw to saw, raw material by performing following duties.

  • Provides traveler to material handler to pull appropriate material assigned to the traveler from the material lot.
  • Match material to proper tags as well as diameter of material, notify Saw Lead if  they do not match.
  • Set saw program to proper length. Zero out counter and track number of bars chopped/sawed.
  • Saw material and fill out traceability tag for material cut before moving out of area.
  • Log material used on daily cut sheet and submit to Saw Lead at the end of each shift.
  • Fill out router with number of pieces cut.
  • Provide first article to QC Supervisor/Lead for approval signature.
  • Organize and clean work area 15-20 minutes before end of shift
