Craig Schmucker is far more than just a fastener salesman. He is a true fastener expert, fully focused on providing his OEM customers with effective, cost-efficient joining solutions. Craig’s dedication to his customers is the result of his drive to learn fasteners and their joining applications throughout his 30 years in the industry. In one example, Craig noticed material waste on a customer’s assembly line. He recounts that “They were using a cap, screw, and washer assembly. The customer was using around 1,200 caps every day and I saw that a lot of them were ending up on the floor. We replaced this assembly with a hinged cup washer, so now the customer is buying fewer components. In this case, we actually saved them about 27% in fastener costs.”

In his free time, Craig enjoys traveling with his wife. Together they have visited 47 of the 50 states.
